  1. what i do when i have no one to play with i usually find a wall in my house thats got a high ceiling and nothing on the walls the i practice bumping, serving, spiking, ect. it really helps me out it's like i'm acctually playing with some one that hitting it back. i usually try and see how many times i can hit it against the wall and back to me repeatedly without messing up. It really helps!!!

  2. A good hitting exercise is to just get a volleyball and wall, hit as you would in a game guide arm up swing thru with your hitting arm bouncing the ball before it hits the wall and then doing the same process without stopping, once you are able to continue for 10 in a row try jumping when you hit.

  3. find an object that's around six feet, then try to pass the volleyball in a way that on its downward motion it hits the top of that six foot object. that's like trying to get to the tosser's hands perfectly.

work on your approach for hitting. just practice the footwork over and over. to put some snap in your hitting the ball, grasp a tennis ball, flick it up with your wrist above your head (but also in front of your head), use volleyball hitting arm motion to hit the tennis ball, but when it's time to hit it just grab it with a snapping motion. do it over and over. try to do this exercise the same time that you practice your footwork.

  4. For hitting, prace your approach until u have got it down then if you have a net try tossing the ball to yourself so you can make your approach an hit. if you dont have a net just do it against a wall.
