What are some initial indicators of a soul mate connection?

Of course there needs to be a deep, intuitive feeling, but what are some initial signs that one has met a romantic soul mate? (even if there is little verbal communication).

Sometimes it's difficult to tell the difference between infatuation and love.  Time will tell the difference.  If he doesn't respond to you in the same way, it's probably infatuation.  If he does, you two could be soul mates if you find you have much more in common than not.
