What are some interesting books written by muslims?

I was wondering what are some interesting books written by muslims. I mean like, I want interesting stories. I don't mean like books about Islam. I mean like the life of muslims, or something like that. They can be fiction or nonfiction. Just something interesting. Jazakum Allah khair muslim brothers and sisters!
