I use the Internet to find a lot of my themes for the children. I choose a different theme every two weeks, and try to celebrate the major holidays that fall each month.

Some daycare's will have themes online that you can print and use, others have ones that you can buy and i found that Tracy from Sunny Lane Learning has some great themes.

It is important to ask your parents what they celebrate for holidays and what they do not. I send out a letter at the beginning of each month with my themes that we will be learning about. If the parent chooses not to have their child/children talk or celebrate the theme. It does get a little hard when a parent says no they would rather not have their child/children learn or be part of the activities i do have to have other things for that child to do. I guess you just have to ask and look onlilne and see what you can find. Type into the search bar what you are looking for and it will bring up tons of things.
