What are some interesting neighbourhoods to explore in Toronto?

Me and my friend are looking for different, strange places to visit, we like to wander new areas and take pictures.

You might enjoy Little India, which is out in the east end, along Gerrard Street East, at about Coxwell.  Directions here:

The beaches- Woodbine Ave up to the Bluffs

Jane/Finch- Interesting area, but enter at your own risk, tons of violence and shootings

Dowtown Core- Bloor Street south to Queens Key, East to DVP, West to Dufferin

Midtown- Eglington Ave

you could take the ferry across to toronto island. Its nice and peaceful there..no cars, and you'll get great shots of the Toronto skyline, esp at night.

Another lively area is queen street
