  1. Wow. Cuidad Perdida, Tayrona, San Agustin, Zipaquira, Monserrate, Eje Cafetero, Popayan, The Mirador over Bogota on a clear night, Leticia, Los Katios. There really are few places in Colombia that arent interesting, Go! Youll love it.

  2. Don't ask Thomas Kuhlmann :(

EDIT: What's with the thumbs down? Obviously whoever did that isn't up on current news and events. Thomas Kuhlmann was a travel writer who was exposed just this week as having written his Columbia travel guide from San Francisco, getting all his insights from a Columbian girl he was dating.

  3. Personally i love COLOMBIA because my parents are from there and its such a beautiful place i'd recommend Cartagena which has the most stunning beaches and there is one thing you cant deny the food is AMAZING!

    especially Empanadas!

    I LOVE COLOMBIA!

  4. ahh, colombia. go to medellin, despite what you hear from everybody. it is an absolutely amazing city where you can ride the gondolas up above the entire city and check out the nice clubs in La Zona Rosa or the Botero Museum.

Also, go to the coast. Cartagena to visit the georgeous old city, Santa Marta to check out the small fishing village of Taganga. Parque Tayrona where you sleep on a hammock and hike around the beautiful scenary.

Get a mud bath in a volcano near Santa Marta. Or lay on the white sands overlooking a blue, calm sea in Playa Blanca, just a boat trip out of Cartagena. Visit the lovely town of San Gil, where you can white water raft and go caving, and meet the most amazing locals. Go to a futbol game, climb the rock of Guatape just outside of Medellin where you overlook heaven.....i can go on and on!!
