What are some interesting ways to get donation money?

im in a school club and were trying to come up with interesting ways to make money for donating to schools that are less fortunate... any ideas??

Candy Grams are great! Go to sams club and get bulk candy and sell it for more.

The usual selling of chocolate bars or a bake sale (at school and local shopping centers). A school dance or concert from a local band who believes in your cause and charge for people to go and /or charge for snacks and drinks during intermission, beginning and end). Concert may be better as the dance probably requires free food and drinks and a DJ unless...guess..you can find a DJ who believes in your cause. Collecting cans if they have a return deposit on them. Ads in a school newspaper.. Craft or art sale. See if a local flea market will allow you to bring in donated things from your classmates....not sure of charge or if they would charge you.

Garage and yard sales at student's homes or school parking lot. See if a church will donate. Bringing in cans to a paying recycling center. Plant sale (Valentine's is coming up). Ok I started ya on some ideas. Have fun and good luck.

Have a spaghetti night where students deliver the spaghetti to people's houses.

Put on a school play

Have a debate night with famous names debating some of the world's problems

Create a haunted house

Have a bingo night

Offer backrubs for a dollar at some public location like a mall ... you need approval. If you do it at school you could make some cash too
