What are some jobs that involve working in the ocean?

Question

Most specifically, that involve being on boats. I'm not really looking for something that's science related, more like cargo, or shipping or something. h**l, anything'll do....but I'd prefer the latter. Thanks in advance. Oh, and please don't say pirate. I'm looking for something modern. Thanks. ^_^

could join Navy   or captain ,first mate  or cook   there fishing boats to container cargo ships

You could always join the Navy, or Coast Guard to be a Boatswain Mate.

Look to boating destinations and their harbors.  They all have patrol boats, some have shore boats , mooring maintenance crews, tour boats and other jobs on the water (passenger carrying requires a Captains license).
