  1. mail

  2. i haven't found any

  3. Most of them are scam.. they ask for upfront payment and guarantee that you'll cover it in days.. but then they disappear..

elance and guru are good option you can try to explore others as well.

List and links of some genuine surveys can be found here: http://genuine-surveys.blogspot.com/ and links for genuine data entry jobs can be found here: http://genuine-dataentry.blogspot.com/ they are all free to sign-up and seems legitimate so far to me.

p.s. sign-up with a new email id, as you might receive a lot of junk mails no your email otherwise.

  4. Avon is the best one I can think of.  There is always a gimmick with on-line surveys.  It's $10 to start and they give you everything you need to get started for a month.  They even set you up with a web page of your own to sell from, this way you don't have to really leave home.  After that it's all up to you and how much you want to make.  You can look up your regional rep at www.avon.com to give you more info.

  5. In the old days before the internet this was called "envelope stuffing". Small manual-labor jobs that could be done easily by untrained people and did not need any special skill. The kind of job you could do while watching t.v. If  any one offers you this kind of work please be aware of cons and scams. Do not take any work where there is a set up fee, no matter how good it sounds. You should never pay a potential employer. Be aware of pyramid letter hoaxes and mail list scams that involve asking for/sending money. Good luck.

  6. I have done surveys in the past that have paid me money (deposit a few dollars into a paypal account.)  But I work in the medical field and I know lots of people that do medical coding and medical transcription from home.  Some places like QVC or other places that have a 24 hour order # for products you see in magazines or on tv, sometimes will have you answer phones for a few hours a day in your own home.  As long as it's quiet in your home for those few hours.  Although the waiting list for those can be quite long.  Good luck.
