Interesting strategy.  However, what makes your website different than MySpace, Facebook, or Orkut--which are all HUGE in numbers according to Compete.com .

The social network for "everybody" means there is no connection between the users.  MySpace used music.  Facebook relied on networks based initially on College and then moved to locality and business networks.

How you answer that question for your users and prospective users is critical to the success and viability of your website.
