You're approaching the question from the wrong angle.  The way you asked it will draw out every no-experience-required-you-can-make-mill... scam in the books.

For any business, home-based or other, to be "legitimate", it needs to add value to the product or service for the consumer.  How can you add value to a purchase?

Ask yourself what skills and abilities you have that could potentially be marketed to people from your home.

Know how to play an instrument?  Be a music teacher.  Good on a PC keyboard?  Type up term papers or be a transcriptionist for people.  Really good with people?  Maybe work as a home based customer service representative.  

You get the idea.
