I am in New Mexico and the local, in New Mexico only, chain that we have is Blake's Lota Burger. By far it is the best many people prefer their angus burgers over Carl's Jr. A secondary local chain is Bob's burgers though I believe that is only in the Albuquerque area.

  1. Well out by me we have a somewhat local Hamburger joint called Culver's, they first started in Wisconsin (where I am from) and now they are in other states.

  2. I live in MN.  Very cold here right now.  Burger chaings in my area are:  McDonald's, Burger King, Hardee's, Arbey's, Wendey's.  I think Burger King is preferred.  I have never heard of any of the places you talked about.  I thought McDonalds and Burger King were everywhere.

  3. I would have to agree with the person who mentioned In-N-Out.  I think there might be a few chains in Nevada or Arizona, but it is mostly a California gem.  There burgers are fresh and delicious!  They have of like 7 things on the menu.  But they have a whole other "secret" menu that has things like grilled cheese and a "flying dutchman."  And animal style fries--fries with cheese, their secret sauce, and grilled onions.

    SOOO good!

  4. We have  Louie's Lunch over here, in CT, they invented the Hamburger!

  5. Five Guys Burgers & Fries they are MUCH better than any fast food chain.

To the guy a few spots above me you're right, Andy's rocks!!

  6. Do they still make Navajo pizza and tacos? mmmmm

    The BEST!!!!!! with Frybread!???

  7. Whataburger= Perfect burger =]

    In Texas.

  8. We only have major franchises in my area---none that are exclusive to Ky as far as I know.

  9. In N Out in Cali!

  10. In N Out (The best burgers ever)!! Oh yeah I'm in Las Vegas, Nevada.

  11. Falafel Drive In is by far the best. They sell burgers too but the falafels are awesome.

    San Jose area, CA

  12. mmm...I am in Utah and we have several...Crown Burgers, Best Burger (really is), Big Jim's, Jumbo Burger....they are all so delicious.  If you have never tried pastrami on a burger---OMG it's to die for.

  13. The person that answered first listed major Fast Food franchises, but I think that you are asking for something different. Literally every state has a McDonalds, Burger King, Hardees,etc....

I'm in North Carolina, and a local Fast Food chain is Andy's and Cookout.

The Andy's fast food restaurant has somewhat of a Diner feel to the resturant and has a 50's atmosphere to it, they only play music from the 50's and 60's in Andy's.

But I love Cookout the best by far. At Cookout, they cook everything fresh. If you walk by the restuarant, it smells just like burgers in a backyard cooking on a grill. All of their burgers have that "smoked" flavor, and they have the best burgers by far.

Both Andy's and Cookout are located in select areas in North Carolina. Cookout is almost always found in bigger cities.

Andy's is almost always located in smaller towns, but there are a few Andy's in some bigger cities, but just a few. As a matter of fact, there is an Andy's in the town that I live in.

  14. whataburger,dairy queen

    i am in texas

  15. In-N-Out in southern California. Their burgers are WAY better than those at the national chains. Their menu is very simple and short, pretty much just 3 burgers (hamburger, cheeseburger & double-double), fries, shakes, and soda, but the food is VERY GOOD! They can customize your order, say you want "well done" fries or a lemon-up (7Up & pink lemonade) and they have "secret" items that aren't on the menu, like a 3x3 or animal style fries. There is always long lines at their drive-thrus!
