What are some lyrical moves (dance) that I could use in my solo? ?

I am doing a solo to try out for a competing dance troupe. The song is You Are Everything by Matthew West... any ideas?

  1. when doing lyrical dancing, its not so much about the moves, but rather your emotion.  Yes of course you need choreography (dance moves) but instead of focusing more on the  dance moves, try focusing more on emoting and expression.... if you do that, u'll do much better in competition! good luck tho! =)


  2. do triplets, and fall and recovery movements, stuff on the floor, tilts, jumps and make your movements dramatic.

  3. you could do dramatic movement and do splits and toss put your arms out in front of you and make your hands into a fist and drag your arms and fists back to your heart and tilt your head a little and kick your leg to the side up and spin and then jump up high in the air and do a split and land into the same split just really get into the song and start making moves up and you'll get
