What are some magic the gathering sets?

i am searching for some magic the gathering sets and i need some advice on which sets have the best cards and i need answers

The best sets playwise would be Urza's Saga, Legacy, and Destiny.  They have the most powerful cards in a block format.

But most every set has at least one very powerful card.  It may not always be rare so you can't judge a card by rarity.  Invasion has Fact or Fiction (if used properly, can be a gamebreaker), Alliances has Force of Will (arguably the best counter in the game), Alpha/Beta/Unlimited has the Power 9.  The nine most "powerful" cards in the game.  But good luck trying to get those.  They start at $150 a piece and go up from there.

Power 9:

Black Lotus-0 costing artifact that lets you add 3 mana to your mana pool.  Basically lets you start the game 3 turns ahead of your opponent.  One time use.

Mox Jet-0 cost artifact that lets you add black to your mana pool.  Reusable.  Let's you start one turn ahead of your opponent.

Mox Sapphire-Same as Jet but adds blue.

Mox Emerald-Same as Jet but adds green.

Mox Pearl-Same as Jet but adds White.

Mox Ruby-Same as Jet but adds Red.

Timetwister-Lets you restart your hand for 3 mana.  Usually used with the lotus or moxes.  Play out your hand, then use three of the moxes to restart your hand and play out your hand again.

Time Walk-Gives you another turn for 2 mana.

Ancestral Recall-Lets you draw 3 cards for 1 mana.
