I know that green tea helps raise metabolism and i lost 3 lbs. so thanks for responding!!!!!!!!!!1

  1. If you are wanting to raise your metabolism, I would suggest that you eat breakfast, even if you aren't feeling hungry. Allow me to explain:

    Overnight, your metabolism slows down, because you aren't eating anything, and your body doesn't want you to feel hungry. Your metabolism is now reduced. (Kind of like bears and hibernation. :o) )

    In the morning when you wake up, you don't feel hungry (sometimes) because your metabolism has been reduced. So, to regain your metabolism, you must eat. Have a banana now, and when you are hungry later, eat another something.

    Also, anything "lean" helps you feel and be a lot healthier. Try apples and peanut butter instead of potato chips, carrots and ranch dressing instead of the many, MANY unhealthy food choices their are to be made.

  4. Whenever you don't eat, your metabolism slows (much like celloluver says). To really rev up your metabolism, eat many small meals a day. I cannot stress the word "small" enough. Just spread out the amount of food you normally eat into six or seven "snacks" throughout the day, and your metabolism will be constantly going all day.

    You might also want to stay off the fast food, and try eating more fruits and veggies. I know it sounds boring, but that'll help you lose weight as well.
