Like tricks and tips to help you remember to keep your shoulders back and stand up straight. Any exercises or reminders?

  1. Yoga and exercise...stretches, etc.  all of these help strengthen the back.  I also have several braces/supports that work well...you can get the lower back supports which work ok, but my favorite thing is a shoulder harness which really helps...it goes around the back of the neck, under the arms and around your shoulder blades...it helps pull the shoulders back and it feels so good.  I think it's called a clavicle brace?  Most medical supply stores have them...

  2. Exercise, you need to find a local Pilate's class and learn about isolation of muscles, how to locate them, isolate them and use them. Build up the core strength and be aware of your posture. Once you have learned the Pilate's technique, you have it for life and you find yourself automatically adjusting your posture. Best of Luck

  3. When you are sitting on a chair, like right now, but you're back up against the chair and keep both feet on the ground.

  4. i think that you should sit up straight and keep your feet on the ground it worked for most of my family and my dads 53 years of age and still sits up straight so this should help you.

  5. The only thing that makes me straighten up is when I see one of those old ladies who have a hunchback on the street. So a good method would be to think about how you are older and if you don't correct your posture now, you will be a hunchback when you get older!
