What are some mini games that can be played during a round of golf?

I have heard about a game called "Captains" but dont know how its played

We used to play "poison" on the tee box during slow rounds.  You have to hit both tee markers before starting to 'intercept' other players ball and thus eliminating them.  Last person standing wins.  Sometimes this game became seemingly  more important than the round itself. lol.
