What are some monarchs.?

Ok not the ones like the London monarchy but a family with no consitution tied to it a family with total control but you know what I meen rit? I have looked on the web but I am not haveig good luck with that surch but I found a few like Spain,London and a few others but not to my pleshure.will you tell me of others. And with that info will you clarify what the diffrice is betwen monarchs and a dictator. thx you.

Are you referring to an absolute monarchy? Only four nations in the world is ruled by an "absolute monarchy." Absolute monarchy is a monarchical form of government where the monarch has the power to rule his or her land or state and its citizens freely, with some laws or legally-organized direct opposition in force. Although some religious authority may be able to discourage the monarch from some acts and the sovereign is expected to act according to custom, in an absolute monarchy there is no constitution or body of law above what is decreed by the sovereign (king or queen). As a theory of civics, absolute monarchy puts total trust in well-bred and well-trained monarchs raised for the role from birth. Among the few states that retain a rather absolute monarchy are Brunei, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Vatican City.

I believe the only absolute monarchies, mentioned in another post earlier today, to be exact, are Oman, Brunei, and Saudi Arabia.  

Oh, yeah, just checked Rachelle.  She IS the expert.  She includes the Vatican, but I think the set up there is a little different...being the Vatican...I would give them an entirely different category, but she knows the official ones.

Anything else is pretty much figurehead only.
