Industrialized nations should lead the way to mitigating greenhouse gases so developing countries have room for growth.

The earth's climate has been changing back and forth for billions of years.  

We are merely in-between ice ages right now.  

I know that humans have sped up the process and should have more respect for the earth, but Global Warming is inevitable,  just like another ice age is inevitable.  

I believe that dinosaurs did at one time affect the climate in an adverse way much the same way humans are doing it - through excess.

Is it right to make poor countries pay for what rich countries have done?

Is it right to make people in rich countries today pay for what people in rich countries did 100 years ago?

Is it effective for only the currently-rich countries to limit economic growth and eliminate jobs while currently-poor countries are allowed to take all the jobs given up by the rich?

Is it right to force the currently-rich countries to give up those jobs if industrial growth in the currently-poor countries will undo whatever environmental good the rich accomplish?

The rich countries get most of the benefits of burning fossil fuels, while the poor ones will get most of the problems.

I don't believe in moral dilemmas, any more than I believe anyone who says "repent or perish."      

I believe that which is proven.

I tend to be skeptical of unproven theories that are advocated to support agendas that have been sought on the basis of a number of prior theories all of which have turned out to be bogus.

The purposeful limiting of economic output in underdeveloped nations in the name of global warming today (communism yesterday) is a monstrously immoral thing to do, and accomplishes nothing save the continued poverty and lack of opportunity for people in those countries.

This is done via the Kyoto Protocol and other UN-sponsored policies that lean heavily towards socialist principals long discredited.
