What are some motels accessible by the DC metro?

I live in Bethesda, MD, and have a friend coming into town with nowhere to stay and not too much money on him. Anywhere in the area is fine as long as there is access to a metro station, although I don't know of any motels. Any names/locations would be appreciated.

There would be no motels near Metro.  Most people are willing to pay a premium to be within walking distance of a Metro station.
