What are some motels in the DC/MD area?

Preferably somewhere nearby either a ride on bus/metrobus or a metro station.

I would think the actual motel that you all would select for your friend to stay at would be one close in proximity to your house and your other friend's bec otherwise the cost of transportation and time going and coming back to that particular motel would be inconvenient or someone would have to give him/her a lift or ride and in all honesty, if your friend is low on cash then he/she should stay home bec how can they eat or afford to go out and have a good time...

Of course the Maryland side in PG County is cheaper but then your friend could get mugged or robbed being in the wrong place...plus you should beware that on weekends the MetroBus schedule changes drastically.  FYI there are the older cheaper 1950's motels along Route 1 in Alexandria as well as in Fairfax City from Fairfax Circle to the intersection of Route 29 Lee Highway and Hwy 50 Arlington Boulevard.
