I love "The Devil Wears Prada" with Anne Hathaway - it reminded me a lot of Ugly Betty. The main character gives herself a makeover.

The other movies with a makeovers i can think of: Head Over Heels, She's All That, Miss Congeniality, The Princess Diaries, My Big Fat Greek Wedding

She's all that is a good one. Another classic movie that is along the same lines is "Can't Buy Me Love". Very good movie. It's about a nerdy highschool boy that get's transformed into popularity. Awesome flick.
