Question:

What are some musicals that a small 7th and 8th grade group can do for their musical?

obviously it should be school appropriate and we've already done al that i can think of so try to be out of the box! we have pretty much an even amount of talented boys and girls and next year i'll be an 8th grader and my music teacher and i discussed that she thinks i'll get the lead next year so i'd prefer a musical that has one female lead so i don't have to rely on anyone else!

For middle school productions I'd also check out shows from Pioneer Drama. They have appropriate stuff for the middle school voice range.

they also have a version of The Little Mermaid, which is good if you are looking for a large female lead.

anything BUT highschool musical it gets reallly annoying people dont like it

try to ask them mix it up a little youll be ok

try something a little modern musicals etc are old songs and its boring so try something different
