Must see/do : Horseback riding to Waterfall with Rancho Salvaje, Quad ride with ATV Adventure, Ocean World (dolphin swim), Catamaran VIP (sunday/wednesday), Isabelle de Torre (cable car), Monstertruck Safari, and so much more.... This is for Puerto Plata.

Cabarete is about 45 km from Puerto Plata.

We just came back from Cabarete last thursday. After eating at our all-inclusive for 2 weeks straight we were getting pretty tired of the food, so we tried Jose O'Shay's in town. Oh. So. Good. Their cesear salad tasted just like home, i had the chicken and chips and my husband had some bbq chicken wings that hit the spot! The prices were ok, but it took forever to get our food.

Some must see places? If you love adventuring, you MUST try waterfall cascading. Our resort didn't offer it, so we went with Iguana Mama, they're located right on the main road in Cabarete and are a registered company so they're pretty legit. They took us into the middle of a rainforest about 1.5 hrs from town, and we climbed up the side of a mountain and then jumped and slid down 27 waterfalls!! Also, check out ocean World to swim with dolphins (a must) and do some white water rafting.
