  1. most cultures have legends of great warriors (called berserkers in norse myths, origin of the word berserk) that are filled with bloodlust and kill and are unable to be killed during a fight.  they apparently didn't feel any wounds until after the rage had past, needed to be restrained at the end of a fight so they wouldn't kill the enemy if the enemy surrendered.  there's more but you should do some research for yourself (i might have spelled berserker wrong so if you google it be aware and try similar spellings)

in the popular Redwall series by Brian Jacques, the badgers of Salamandastron are his interpretation of the berserker warrior

  2. Cúchulainn is one of Irish mythology’s  Warp or spasm warriors in which he becomes an unrecognizable monster who knows neither friend nor foe

  3. When Hercules became so enraged that he killed his whole family, and had to be sent to a different king to complete the twelve impossible tasks. Turns out it was Hera messing with his head.

  4. WEREWOLF

Becoming a werewolf simply by being bitten by another werewolf as a form of ... warriors who were thought to use their rage to shape-shift into bears and wolves. ...
