  1. Start doing this today and you will notice the benefits in days.Continue the breathing once a day for rest of life to stay healthy.

Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after 1 minute.

Kapalbhati -(Do it before eating) Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm and do for upto 15 minutes twice a day.(Max 60 min/day) Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it gently.

Anulom Vilom -  Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril

then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril

then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril

then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.

This is one cycle of anulom vilom.

Repeat this cycle for 20 to 30  minutes twice a day(maximum 60 minutes in one day).

You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep breaths into the lungs.

Bhramri Pranayam -Close eyes. Close ears with thumb, index finger on forehead, and rest three fingers on base of nose touching eyes. Breathe in through nose. And now breathe out through nose while humming like a bee.

    Duration : 5 to 15 times

  2. When you feel the migraine coming on, drink 2 glasses of Gatorade right away. Works for some people

  3. Acupuncture is suprisingly effective for migraines - it's hard to create a well designed study, but doing the best we can it seems to be a good option. Hard to get into an acupuncturist that quickly though, and make sure you get somebody who knows what they are doing instead of somebody who pretends to be qualified.

  4. you must have to treat the cause of your migraine ... ie why you cannot sleep??? you need to find a way that you can sleep properly at night.

  5. Apple cider vinegar is supposed to help.

  6. Different people get migraines for different reasons. From the symptoms you mention, it sounds like you could have a reaction from mercury toxicity. Mercury is in shots, vaccines, silver fillings, etc. Toxicity comes from how many shots you or your mother has had, how many silver fillings you all have. there are other environmental factors like if you live close to a coal burning plant.

It sounds as though you may have some issues with candida/yeat overgrowth. These issues can definetyl cause headaches. You may want to look into a candida diet, and also gluten free diets.

It also helps to look at anger, fear, worry, stress, tension, guilt, shame, unforgiveness, etc. We are a mind/body/spirit and all of these components are related.

    Hope this helps!

  7. Accupuncture often helps. Another great treatment is Chiropractic.  Most headaches, actually 90+% ,come from something going on in the neck.  If it is a neck issue a good Chiropractor may help rid you of those migranes.  Chances are it will since Accupuncture gave some relief.  Both of these therapies help take pressure and stress off the nerves.

For the other approximately 10% of headache sufferers they usually are caused from something in your environment - a certain chemical or allergen or allergy to some kind of food.

I have known people who can't use certain detergents, soaps, or cleaning chemicals because they trigger headaches or some other reaction.  You can find some additional info on my website www.arc4life.com.  Good luck, I know headaches very well and they aren't any fun.

  8. Do you have insomia?

My herbal drink is the solution to your problem.  It is comprised of 5 power herbs.  The most powerful herb, moringa, is even known to cure cancer.  Search the web for Moringa and you’ll know what I mean. I used to have insomia and it disappeared when I started drinking it.

If you are interested, email me. Let’s discuss this in detail.

  9. My son used to get migraines weekly.  They were causing him to miss alot of school.  I started taking him to a chiropractor and this has reduced the migraine occurance significantly.  His also seem to be seasonal.  He can go for the entire summer without one, but in the spring and fall he gets them more often.  I do Reiki on him as well, but with our schedules being so busy we haven't been able to do regular sessions for maintenance.  The Reiki will help take the migraine pain away, though, once he's already got the headache.

I'd suggest a combination of chiropractic, acupuncture and Reiki.  Once you get things under control then do maintenance treatments for each of those things.

  10. Migraine treatment is cause-related. If you get headaches when you are stressed, it may be due to tight muscles in your neck and the back of your head. If this is the cause, mobilization of the neck, along with stretching and strengthening exercises, have been demonstrated to be effective in the treatment of migraines.

Massage and other forms of soft-tissue treatment can sometimes be helpful. Scientists are also investigating other therapies, such as laser therapy, to prevent and treat this disorder. Over-the-counter pain relievers, such as acetaminophen, can be used for an occasional headache, but not for long-term headache management.

More serious causes of headache require aggressive treatment, and your Doctor of Chiropractic can assist you in finding a medical headache specialist.  The majority of patients with headache recover completely after treatment. Unfortunately, the recurrence rate is relatively high, particularly with migraine headaches.

Here are some tips to help prevent headaches:

    Avoid slouching

Avoid reading with your neck bent forward

Keep your computer monitor at eye level

Take frequent breaks from reading and working on the computer.

Try a low-fat, high-complex carbohydrate diet. A recent study demonstrated that such a diet can dramatically lower the frequency, intensity, and duration of migraine headaches

    I hope this helps!
