What are some non-typical luxury cars?

Question

Besides the obvious luxury cars brands, like BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, Porsche, what nice cars in the $30,000 - 50,000 price range do you like?

Cadillac SRX, CTS (there just ok)

Volvo S40 ,S80, XC90, C30 <<< Great car maker, so underestimated.....very safe too! (It's hard to tell this is in the FoMoCo)

Audi A5- Ordered an '09, can't wait!

Audi A6- Civilized and Quattro Drive

Volvo S80- Highly Underrated

Infiniti M35- Amazing Value**

VW Passat CC- Not out Yet, but looks like MB CLS

Acura RL- Amazing Navigation System

Buick Lucerne is one of the best values out there.  Same car as the Cadilalc DTS for $10,000 less.  Buick is second to Lexus in customer satisfaction and makes on h**l of a car.

Acura -- best bang for the buck!

Audi- Great in value,

        - better reliability than Mercedes, Jaguar, and Porsche

        - Awesome exterior and even better interior

        - Oozes with class and refinement

Don't get any of the Japanese luxuries i.e. Lexus, Acura, Infinity....those are the most typical cars because people buy those based on Consumer Reports, how boring and obvious. Don't be a Lemming.

I would personally get an Audi A6 Quattro, or Audi TT (not cheap)

I had a Citroen DS

NOTHING rides like them, with their hydraulic suspension with accumulators. The car would rise before driving off. and the hydraulics could shift the trans too!
