NOT based on looks.
I'm talking about the things you are born with, genetically. You know, the difference between being intelligent and being smart: being intelligent only gives you the capacity of being smart, while being smart is the act of using intelligence. Another example is metabolism and fitness: having a high metabolism only gives you the capacity of being fit, while being fit is the act of using your metabolism. Another I can think of is skill and talent. Having talent only gives you the capacity of being skilled, while being skilled is the act of using your talents. You are born with intelligence, metabolism, and talent while you use those three characteristics about yourself to become smart, fit, and skilled.
What are some other examples of this?
(I wasn't sure where to put this so forgive me if this doesn't belong)
