What are some nutritional foods for football?

because i previously played football for 6 years then took a break because of an injury...i became lazy and out of shape...what are some good foods/drinks/shakes to help me slim down and get back in shape...im 15 and weigh in at 145 and im 5'10

  1. eat half a cliff bar before and after practice,  eat sphagetti and meatballs as a night-before-the-game meal as it has carbs for energy and protein for muscle growth
