    2. Cordoba - the mosque-cathedral, the old town, great gazpacho.

    3. Seville - the old castle and old town - see flamenco here

    4. Granada - the Alhambra

    5. Barcelona - Picasso museum, old town, all the Gaudi architecture

    6. Segovia - Alcazar castle

    7. Jerez - for sherry and bullfights, if you go for that sort of thing

    8. Toledo - the cathedral
