  1. I'll give you two interesting Historical monuments:

The Huascar Monitor, a Turreted Ironclad warship taken from the peruvian navy during the "Pacific War", once this ship was defeated the Chilean army and navy invaded Bolivia and Peru, gaining from both countries a vast territory. From Bolivia they took what is know as the Atacama desert (Antofagasta) and from Peru the provinces of Arica and Iquique.

The Moneda Palace, is the chilean presidential palace. On September 11th 1973, the chilean Army and Air Force attacked the presidential palace to take down socialist president Salvador Allende, he finnaly killed himself inside the palace with a machine gun and a military goverment took over for the next 12 years under the leadership of General Augusto Pinochet.

I think these are more historical monuments than Easter Island, because they are directly related to what Chile is today!

Another historical monument would be the Santa Lucia hill Fortress, located in downtown, was the strong hold of the newly arrived spanish to protect the city from the Araucanian indians, the conquest war lasted for 300 years!

I would put the Easter Island Moais as a man made monument

The othe would be the Entel tower

  2. OK all those that you were told plus many other like the Volcanoes, Torred del Paine, Puerto Montt. Antartica glaciar, etc... Puyehue, Santiago, The Moon Valley

  3. For historial monuments there is the Statue of Manuel Baquedano in Plaza Italia, then Moais statues in Easter Island, the Entel tower (communication tower man made), the Statue of Virgin Mary in the San Cristobal hill, Palacio Cousiño in Santiago, Quinta Vergara in Viña del Mar. Those are plenty!
