I just come from a holiday to venice I can tell you that Cassanova used to live there, the water smells really bad, the waiters are very rude and nearly every shop has a mask in the window.Hope that helps!

They lease Fur Coats!  Since there arent any cars people spend upwards of about 20 to $40,000 on furs

It depends which tipe of project you are working on. There are a lot of facts in Venice History, the politics, the wars, the glory and the fall.

The about the city itself, on the water, no cars, everythings is moved by boats (also the police, the fireman, ...).

Start choosing if you are most interested in History facts or present facts.

If you want to put a really interesting fact into your project, talk about the proposal (well under way now) to put up barriers to high tides to keep Venice streets from flooding.
