It is dual caliber and will also shoot 22 cal pellets... Have not tried the 22's yet... The .117 cal gold raptors make this gun shoot as fast as the barret 50 cal sniper rifle... 1,250 fps... It hurt my shoulder the 1st day I used it shooting... I shot 50+ Gold Raptors into a trash can... Dam,it sounds like a real gun going off when the 25% Higher Velocity PBA Gold Raptors are being shot... The gun cost me 124.95 @ Walmart... Thanks for the answer... Olivia

  2. i dont like the raptors myself, but they do sound loud! i was told that they can damage spring pellet guns, which your beeman is! i like the free targets that are on the kermit airgun club website. shoot safe and have fun!

  3. * The Barret 50 is a h**l of a lot faster than 1250 FPS.

    * If you hurt your shoulder with an air-gun, you're doing something seriously wrong.

    * Anything will sound a lot louder if you shoot it into a trash can.

    * Soda cans make great DIY targets. Make 'em' roll!

    * For a DIY pellet trap, just take all the junk mail and old magazines

that you'd throw out anyway, and stack 'em' in a big cardboard box.

    Pellets check in, and stay.

(Those Raptors have been known to ricochet.

You don't want to annoy the neighbors.)

  4. Heh well if you want to have fun try this.

Fill a can full of oil or any flamable oil. You could use gas if in a safe location and a safe distance away. Take your gun and shoot at the can but here is the catch. Light a small candle or other material that will stay lit right nect to the can so that when you puncture the can it will either explode or will shoot up in flames.

P.S. If you do this record it and post it on youtube then send me a message saying that it was done. My username is

    Thanks!

  5. a picture of Osama Bin Laden

  6. A cardboard box stuffed with newspapers will provide an adequate back stop

The Barret 50 caliber rifle will shoot much MUCH faster than your air rifle, between 2800 and 3100 fps, depending on bullet weight.

If your air rifle hurt your shoulder, you're doing something wrong.

  7. Go to WalMart and get a box of clay pidgeons for about 6$. You can set them up and break them with the pellet gun.

I use them all the time.

  8. Lot of funny answers here, I assume you want to get an accurate rifle by target shooting. By the way, that is a good choice, 1200fps is blazing.

  9. shoot at something that shoots back. try this one and use a compass to draw cirlcles on it.

And btw. the barrett .50 cal shoots at 2850 fps. Thats more than double what your pellets shoot.

  10. well if your a hunter start with the big targets like rabbits and use the 22 and get .22 pba's they work great on  any targets destruction wise and from there go to squirrels and so forth but you can also do this the exact opposite way from chipmunks to rabbits but if you arent a hunter cans plastic and galss bottles and old junk cd's too and stirofoam cups too but always make sure when your using a 1000 fps gun or higher in .177 and 800 in .22 that you have a safe backstop i like a 2 inch peice of plywood(hey you never know you might get a pass through in a weak spot)

Take ONE shot at each dot, for a total of 15 shots. The hole touching or inside largest dot is worth one point. The slightly smaller dot below it is worth 2 points, the dot below it is worth 3 points, the dot below it is worth 4 points and the smallest dot on the bottom is worth 5 points. 45 total points are possible.

And to make this a little more interesting... IF ALL five shots in one of the vertical columns are CLEARLY FULLY inside the black a bonus of 10 extra points per column will be awarded. 30 possible bonus points + 45 = perfect 75 score

    Range

25 yards for iron sights and non-magnified optics and red dots

50 yards for any Scope or Magnified sighting device.

    or shoot binladen
