Try Sala Cafe Bar in Broughton Street it is a spanish tapa bar the food is fantastic value and delicious it has a great lunch at £5 for 2 dishes and a drink, so for lunch i go quite a lot, it is about to change its name to La Sala but even their  house rioja is great value at £11 a bottle have a look at their web page

try the mussell inn, rose street, edinburgh.

we had to wait for a table but the food + service were both great. good prices too, always a bonus :)
