What are some of the best private Universities in the U.k??

I am thinking about going to school in the u.k for medicine. What are Some of the best private universities in the U.k for that?? Also What are some that offer a true european experience in the U.K??

there are no private university's in the UK, if your looking for a posh one then oxford, cambridge, durham or St Andrews would be your best bet.

Personally if your looking for a truly European experience go to France, all country's in Europe are different, Britain is great but going to one of these universities will not give you a genuine "European" experience it will give you a priveledged experience.

The majority of those who go to those university's are lovely people there are a minority who think that attending one of these universities makes them better than someone who studies at a lesser known university. but they are most definately the minority.
