  1. Go to Animal Kingdom Lodge. You can have your choice between 2 great restaurants that will give you fantastic food. They both get great reviews by the local food critic and the locals. You can look them up on the Animal Kingdom Lodge site.

  2. The Rainforest Cafe is definately a great place.

There's a large selection of food, it's kid friendly, and not too expensive.

There's one located in Animal Kingdom and one in downtown disney.

Be sure to make reservations though.

And save room for dessert, there's a chocolate volcanoe that's extremely good.

  3. Cape May Cafe Clam Bake at The Beach Club is my absolute favorite. The food is so fresh.

    Some other contenders:

    California Grille in The Contemporary

    Ohanas in the Polynesian

Artist Point in The Wilderness Lodge

  4. The BEST restaurant on Disney property is Victoria and Albert's in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.

Since your question did not specify what you mean by "best" (cheapest, most family friendly, best chicken, etc) I decided to put just the "best" overall.

Victoria & Albert's has received several accolades over the years, and is often cited in the Orlando Sentinel yearly as the best restaurant in Central Florida.

It has received the Five Diamond award from Triple A and has received Top Ten praise from Zagat.

You won't find traditional "theme park Hamburgers and Hot Dogs" here. This is upscale type cuisine, meaning you can expect to pay "upscale cuisine prices" as well.

All in all, Victoria and Albert's is the crown jewel of Disney Dining.

  5. Kobe Japanese Steakhouse!

It's located in Lake Buena Vista, closeby to Disney. It's a Japanese restaurant, teppanyaki/hibachi style cooking where they prepare the food in front of you. It's a whole show/entertainment. You get more than a portion full of food. If you come with 9-10 people, you will get a table of your own. But if you come with less than that, they will most likely sit other people with you, which is fun as well! Their white sauce is AMAZING, and average price is about $25, depending on what you get. But it's not bad for your money, a big hit in Orlando! Lots of fun!

  6. Marilyn--the links on this page lead to crowd reviews of all the Walt Disney World table service restaurants.  They are ranked in order, and further distinguished by whether they particularly appeal to kids--or not!
