What are some of the connections between Global Warming and Capital Punishment?

Are there any theories/information supporting the claim that a rise in the Earth's average temperature is affecting criminal activity, specifically murder? Any of this portrayed in movies? Cite any articles you may find, I have always been interested to know! =)

I guess you could say criminals would rather work in t-shirts and shorts than heavy winter jackets. Let's them run faster.

Yes - The record snow and cold in Chicago is directly related to the crime.  Cold and snow causes 'Cabin Fever' and causes people to go nuts.  This is why a relatively calm person shot 6 people and himself on a college campus.

Cold also caused the 'Black Death' in Europe.

Warmth is good for people.

Wow. People will blame ANYTHING on global warming these days!

I have never seen anyone even ask the question and have DEFINITELY never seen any research or evidence that it could be the case.

It takes less energy to execute murderers than to keep them alive for 30 years (or more).
