What are some of the cool night hang out places to visit in Panama?

I has been 2 years since I visited Panama and like always everything changes when I go back. Please tell me what are some of the cool nightclubs or lounges that are safe, and pleasant. Any American hangout locations and restaurants? I will be visiting in a month.

Calle Uruguay is your best bet... I don't know why when I go there I always end up at Sahara and Unplugged. Or the Amador Causeway (there, I always end up at the Australian bar).

Calle Uruguay has many new bars and lounges... and in Amador there are some new places too...  enjoy!

Why hang out with the Americans in Panama?  You should go where the locals go.  If you want, I can have my cousin email you a list of local places when you go (she speaks English) and she can even take you around.  She works for an American company so many of her friends speak English as well.  I think you would have fun!
