Do you think that the majority of people that are not good with math because they're lazy, or is it because their brains are not capable of processing the information properly?

I've always struggled with math, but I've excelled in all other areas in my academic past. I want to be better at math, and I don't have much confidence that I'll ever be better. Is it possible that I can turn things around and become better at it?

  1. math is progression and you don't get it in the beginning than it just gets harder and harder. Many people just don't put in the work. You need to start from scratch and build your way up. Don't skip things because they all get used in higher math

  2. we need to understand the concepts&formulaes

and hard work is needed for that

  3. The introduction of calculators...and not paying attention in school.

  4. math is a very uneasy subject even i  don"t pass  it sometimes and i'm a forth grader if u believe you can succeed

  5. There are a lot of math teachers that shouldn’t teach because they have zero patience, but there are also really good ones out there. I had a few math teachers show me their own way to solve it once, and if you want to go over it again, you had to stay after school and pay them as a tutor, real @ssholes, but after that I got a really good teacher. I think it has a lot to do with the teacher and if they're patient and will be willing to teach you different methods to solve problems, to see which one works best for you, I think anyone can be good; you just need the right teacher.

  6. People that say their brains are not capable of processingthe info properly are taking the easy way out and being lazy. Some people are smarter than others, but that just means they don't need to study as much. If you really worked at it and got some help then you would earn better grades. I'm sick of people saying that it's all about capabilities because it's not. It is all about how much time you are willing to put in.
