    Hypoxia (low oxygen levels)

    Disturbance in metabolite levels

    Cardiac tamponade (blood around the heart)

    Pulmonary embolism (clots in the lungs)

    Toxins

    Tension pneumothorax (air trapped in the chest around the lung)

  4. Cardiac arrest for any number of reasons, including arrhythmia, hypoxia, hypotension, etc.
