    Also being black flagged by the FIA for rules violation. Can be as simple as crossing the white line leaving the pit area before it ends, running the light at the end of pit lane or being accused of rough driving.

    Only cars that are running within the last lap of the race get classified, given a numbered finishing position, for the race. If you do not make it that far you are considered to finish the same as someone that may not even have started the race.
