  1. 1  I don't spend that much on what my insurance doesn't cover

    2  I'm afraid I wouldn't end up spending what I had allocated for x and/or y and/or z

    3  Too much time for so little payback in terms of what I would need that my insurance doesn't cover

    4  "They"/Those people have no dependents so they have no extras in terms of needs for which FSAs would be the answer


  2. 1. If you overestimate expenses you lose the balance of your contributions.

    2. If you're in a very low tax bracket, the savings are minimal.

    3. Inertia. They actually have to fill out a form and file it with their employer.
