  1. According to what you have put down as symptoms all point to diabetes.

Add to that urinating frequently and feeling tired a lot and it most certainly does look like diabetes.

  2. Here are the most common symptoms of both types of diabetes.

    Constant thirst

    Frequent urination

    Constant hunger

    Unexplained weight gain OR loss

    Blurry vision

    Headaches

    Nausea or vomiting

    Itching skin with no rash

Reoccurring yeast infections in women, itching p***s in men

    Frequent boils

    Leg cramps

    Irritability

    Slow healing wounds

    Sweet smelling urine

Burning, tingling sensation in hands, arms, feet, or legs.

Not all diabetics have or even get high blood pressure and being overweight does not mean you are going to be diabetic.  Most diabetics (even type 2) are not overweight, however type 2 can sometimes cause some weight gain.  Many times it will cause weight loss just as in type 1.

Diabetes often goes undiagnosed because many of its symptoms seem so harmless. Recent studies indicate that the early detection of diabetes symptoms and treatment can decrease the chance of developing the complications of diabetes.

    Some diabetes symptoms include:

    Frequent urination

    Excessive thirst

    Extreme hunger

    Unusual weight loss

    Increased fatigue

    Irritability

    Blurry vision

If you have one or more of these diabetes symptoms, see your doctor right away.

  5. Being overweight does put you at a higher risk for developing type II diabetes.

Being thirsty, frequent urination, chronic fatigue, alcohol/acetone smell of your breath, rapid heartbeat are all signs of uncontrolled diabetes.

If you are already being treated for high blood pressure it is very simple for your doctor to perform in in-office urine dip stick to test for sugar.  As your body cannot absorb sugar when you have diabetes it spills over into your urine.  If the urine test is positive, your physician will order additional test and possibly prescribe medications to assist you.

Thirst and bruising easily are also common side effects of some BP medications or aspirin therapy.

Your best bet is speak with your physician or pharmacist about your symptoms.
