  1. well some guys in germany now wear reeeeaaaaallllll tight tight pans......lol...but beside that its same as in usa...u just dont see so many people wearing jogging clothes or comfi. clothes when they go to work or shopping..they wear "normal" clothes, and the hairstyle of guys> they wear a little more color in there hair....:-)

  2. Styles of what exactly? Can you be more specific please?

Clothes, Hair, or Music? Which style do you refer to?

  3. Well, I lived in Koeln, which is a bit more fashionable and rich than other parts of Germany, and this is what I found.

guys: definitely stylish. They have hair that is usually gelled ans styled. often with streaks of light color, frosted tips, or have their hair completely dyed. They wear tighter pants than the typical American guy style (sorry, but I'm American, so that is my reference point)- this means they fit correctly and they are worn at the waist, not around the knees with 2 feet of underwear sticking out. Pretty much all around better fitting clothes.

girls: all styles of hair, long, short, dyed, everything. But again, they take good care of it and it is always styled. Skinny jeans, stripes, (when I was there 6 months ago it was winter so the bug colors were black, grey, and purple), lots of scarves. Fake tans were huge!

Everyone: has mp3 players, usually not ipods that I saw. they liked small ones that hung on a cord around their necks, the checkered, Palestinian looking scarves were huge, idk if they are still big or if it has moved on again yet.

usually people live in apartments, only the more weathly have independent houses out in the suburbs, everyone pretty much takes public transportation. In Koeln the subway system was excellent. But the buses were also widespread and there are a LOT of cars everywhere. They tend to use smaller cars, VERY few SUV's and no pickup trucks and such that I saw. probably hundreds if not thousands of bike riders. that is the big thing there, bikes. I was always juggling spots with bikes on the subway, and there were designated bike lanes on all sidewalks. If you walk in them by accident, prepare to be assaulted with a barrage of bike bells "chinging" at you, haha.

    Hope that helps
