Moon so bright and shiny at night,

I adore you

You're so fresh, cool, comforting and calm,

I lay down on the beach

I see the coconut palms

Dancing and waving above me.

Moon! You are so good to me

You're so fresh, cool, comforting and calm

You give me time to think, laugh, sing,

On the beach.

You are up here watching over Earth

Recounting the tales of my forefathers
