Driving to work this morning, there were some drivers on the road just setting me into a rage...

What drives you crazy when on the road??

Biggest ones for me...

Driving with no lights on in white out conditions!!!!

Windshield wipers going at full speed when it's not raining/snowing, or just barely.

Driving with signal on.. or not signalling at all...

And of course.. driving below the speed limit and aggressive drivers... (You're not the ONLY ones on the road people)

Ok.. thats my rant for now.. what bugs you?

  1. It drives me nuts how when you try to get in another lane,  the driver in that lane speeds up to keep you from coming over!!!!

AS IF HE/SHE IS GOING TO GET SOMEWHERE FASTER!!!!

  2. Road hogs!  People who chug along in the passing (left-hand) lane and make people pass them on the right!  It's SO dangerous to have to pass on the right.  If you're not passing someone stay out of the d**n passing lane!  Especially on major highways.

Okay, that's my rant for the day!

  3. Aside from the Norm...people who do not signal, too slow or pass on the right side...I really REALLY have a problem with peopl who ride the brake while their head swings from side to side so they can read the frikken street sign.  If you have to be somewhere and you are not sure where it is, TAKE A TEST RUN, or get a map, google the directions.....something!  Know where you are going before you get there.  In defense of slow drivers.  Some times my mom is with me, and I have to drive slower with her in the vehicle.  She suffers from a form of vertigo and will be very very ill if I go too fast.

  4. I ride a motorcycle and one thing I hate is when drivers switch lanes without looking at the lane they are switching into, I almost bought it a couple times cause of those idiots, and then they look at you like it's your fault that your in their lane

  5. People not using their turning signals - especially at 4 way stops. I mean seriously those people are asking for an accident. Use your d**n turn signals people or are you just that flippin lazy.

  6. My biggest pet peeve is people who complain about other drivers.

  7. Biggest ones for me are:

    ~Not signaling properly

~Crossing multiple lanes to take an exit

~Crossing medians to take access roads when freeways are congested

~Not allowing vehicles into traffic when the "zipper" merge should be implemented (as if you are too important to let 1 vehicle in front of you)

    ~And, of course, drunk driving

  8. Drivers that don't know how to enter a freeway, go to slow, it's much easier to merge when you are close to traffic speed.

Drivers that think they own the passing lane and appoint their selves road police to slow everyone down and they get mad because they are being tailgated.  All they are doing is creating a rolling road block and traffic jam that is more dangerous than speeding, plus the insuing roadrage.

Our roads are underfunded and overloaded,  It's a known fact that roads can carry more traffic when they drive at higher speeds.

The police know this and deliberately let drivers go over the limit by 10 mpg on most freeways,  so don't try to do there job,.

So please space your self out and don't hold up traffic

  9. Tailgaters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I'm driving 10-15 mph over, they are still on my ***!!!!!!!!

  10. People that fail to signal turns.

people that drive well below the speed limit (Holding up traffic).

Those that slam on their brakes to make a turn that again they didn't signal for.

People that pull out in front of you, when there is no one behind you.  Forcing you to hit the brakes and slow down.

  11. ~Crossing medians to take access roads when freeways are congested

~Not allowing vehicles into traffic when the "zipper" merge should be implemented (as if you are too important to let 1 vehicle in front of you)

~People who do not realize that the brake is a valid option when the car in front of you is slower than you vs. "fly left, fly left, fly left"

~Within two lanes under construction - when you clear right using great effort for an ambulance only to see a ton of cars in tote taking a free ride - that's a new one I just experienced recently.

~People who over analyze driving as if it matters.   ;)

  12. I hate tailgaters!  Jack@sses always riding my tail!  It makes me uncomfortable and I consider it reckless driving.  I feel they're gonna slam into the back of my car.  I've even had 18 wheelers no more than 10 ft. behind me while going 70mph.

Don't people know, it's 1 car lane for every 10mph!

  13. TAILGATERS, PEOPLE ON CELL PHONES, PEOPLE THAT DON'T USED THEIR TURN SIGNALS, RUBBERNECKERS AND VERY VERY SLOW DRIVERS.

OKAY I HAVE VENTED, WHO'S NEXT..

  14. Left lane bandits, and tailgaters.

  15. Most of the answers stated above are very true to what I believe are my pet peeves on the road.  However, I generally dislike it when I'm driving behind someone who is going WELL below the speed limit, especially when there isn't even any car in front of them.

  16. You may be surprised at my answer. My biggest pet peeve on the road is nothing. Not one thing. I drive in such a way that I don't get mad at anything anyone does. I simply obey all the rules and react only when I need to, only to the degree I need to in order to avoid a collision, and never with emotion. Like a machine. Consider your PC. You need to interact with it. It needs to interact with you. Just like other drivers on the road. You can get as angry as you want, at it, you can yell at it, you can pound the keyboard, you can swear at it, and flip it off. You know what it will do? Nothing. It will continue to do what it is supposed to do with no emotion. That is how I drive, that is how I react to other drivers. All you people who can rattle off your entire book of highway pet peeves, then get to work and regale all of us with boring stories of how so and so did such and such to you are going to die of heart failure by 50 years old because you let every forgotten turn signal, every illegal lane change, every speeder, and every person you think did you wrong annoy you and set the tone for your entire day. Lighten up. people. Bring your iPod in the car with you, make sure you are aware of what is around you, and drive. And for God's sake don't think that you are the perfect driver, because you are not, and you have probably been the subject of someone's coffee break horror story on way more occasions than you would care to admit. Rage is a personal  choice. Get over yourself.

  17. people (and there are lots of them) who slow down just to look why someone got pulled over on the shoulder, and slow down entire traffic on a freeway... mind ur own business people

  18. Rude / aggressive drivers....... relax people, its only driving!
