  1. "Rich gifts wax poor when givers prove unkind".

  2. 'Where is Polonious?'

    'In Heaven'

It just makes me laugh, Hamlet would make an amazing comedy

  3. what the other say

  4. What a piece of work is a man, how noble in reason, how

infinite in faculties, in form and moving how express and

admirable, in action how like an angel, in apprehension how like a god! the beauty of the world, the paragon of animals—and yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust? Man delights not me—nor woman neither, though by your smiling you seem to say so.

  5. "h**l hath no fury as a woman scorned"

There are other that I like, but that is always the first to come to mind.

EDIT: I just like the attitude behind it and that so few words really gets the point across that your pissed off!

  6. I was also going to say

"A rose by any other name is still a rose"

but since you took it.. my next favorite would be...

    "I think, therefore I am"

it helps me to realize I do exist in this world that is sometimes bigger than me

another good part to add to the rose

"if it were to be called by any other name, would it not smell as sweet?"

it tells me a name is just a name, that doesn't change its basic principle (just like you :P)

neither a borrower nor a lender be

for loan oft loses both itself and friend

  8. "This above all - to thine own self be true....etc"

  9. To be or not to be that is the question

  10. Did I write that?

  11. “Did my heart love till now? Forswear it sight, for I ne’er saw true beauty till this night.” – William Shakespeare

  12. "some are born great, some acheive greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them"

  13. "to be, or not to be, that is the question"

  14. mine is....."The world is merely a stage" Meaning;  we all have a part in this world.

  15. "Neither a borrower nor a lender be; For loan oft loses both itself and friend, and borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry". - Hamlet (Act I, Scene III).

I loaned a good friend of mine $1000 and now she avoids me because she is unable to pay it back.  I could use the money now too.  It's been over a year ago that I loaned it to her.

I guess that part means that you lose the money and the friend who doesn't pay you back.

I guess borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry because if a man goes deep in debt, he isn't a good candidate for a husband.

  16. To Be or Not To Be.

  17. In literature, I would have to agree and say,

"A rose by any other name is still a rose"

In everyday life, I would have to say,

"I doth haveth to go taketh a poo."

  18. "Do you expect me to talk?"

"No Mr Bond, I expect you to die!!"

  19. Virginia Woolfe - "A rose is a rose is a rose is a rose."

English lit. rarely gets to the point of deep self reference. Yet that is at the core of Chinese and Japanese poetry.

  20. "love all, trust few, do wrong to noone"

  21. "Of all the wonders that I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear, seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come."  No need to worry about dying, as it will happen to all of us.
