What are some of your lightning experiences?

I have had lightning strike the road in front of me while I was driving home from work one day. Ever since then I have been terrified to drive in a storm regardless of how safe people say I am in a car.

I was also talking on my cell phone in my house during a really bad storm, and lightning hit so close that it actually caused static on my phone for a second (I hung up and called them back later).

The lighthing must have hit a tree in my sister's yard and it made a loud noise during a thunderstorm.

Never really had a bad lightning experience. It was actually a beautiful experience, lol. I was Chicago a few years ago and there was lightning and a light drizzle going on. But the lightning wasn't big (that it strike the ground) and it kept striking in different patterns. Pretty amazing. :]
