What are some organizations that are looking for humanitarian aide workers and volunteers?

I'm trying to work my way through college, within a few years I WILL be a doctor. Once I'm done I want to go to a country in need (especially the Sudan or the Congo) and volunteer and/or work for a humanitarian aide organization.

What organizations are there that are currently looking for committed people that want to do this?

I'm not really interested in religious missionary work (going out and spreading religious stuff). I would work with a religion-affiliated organization, but only for medical causes, like

helping victims of genocide, providing medical attention to victims of female circumcision, victims of rape, maybe giving ob/gyn care and AIDS crisis related work.
