  1. Our area has county/township sports activities for 5 years and up.  When my son was 5 we started it and he loved it.  It was also so much fun to watch!!  We did t-ball, basketball, floor hockey and flag football.  It really helps get them active, meet other friends and families, and learn how to be part of a team.  Check with your local county offices or even the elementary schools to see what is offered.

  2. a very smart idea is to help your son make skateboard..Skate is really cool no so dangerous but when he be familiar with it he will have fun with his friends..

skate is the most incretable thing in the world and if you want sth like that you ought to be clever and hard working .. so, your son will try about it if he likes and then he will know that everything that you love needs to keep trying..

  3. 4-H would be good for him.

My sisters and i did 4-H until high school. It taught us alot.

I did some of the crafts at the fair.

My one sister showed her horse.

my younger sister showed her goat.

  4. BOY SCOUTS!! and...

sports most people dont like soccer but i think its the safest and boys like to kick stuff and it doesnt require much skill when its 8 year olds playing so he wount be worse at it then a kid whos done it in past years he will fit right in

    crafts

things with wood like they offer at lowes and home depot to do

    photography

    going to camp

    joining a summer program

  5. We are doing Tball right now.  The kids this age are so fun to watch.  Also a day camp is fun.  Our YMCA has both of these.

  6. Hockey! I remember seeing NHL games where boys around that age would come out on the ice for intermission.

Really, any sport would be great...this time of season, softball, swimming lessons, or soccer are good, too.

Why not also consider boy scouts?

  7. Tennis or basketball, art lessons( this can be anything from painting to pottery), karate, or learning a new language

Maybe he can do something with animals if he likes them including horseback riding or working with dogs. Many non profit orgabizations that train therapy dogs would be glad to assist you and your son.

  8. Our town doesn't have lots of stuff but some of the things my son has been in are T-Ball, flag football, and soccer. I believe he was around 4 or 5 when he took interest in them.
